CGA Missionaries

Rev. Danny Curle is a Canadian-born missionary to the nation of Zimbabwe (the former Rhodesia). He has served in Africa for over 40 years, and found early on in his ministry that feeding programs were an essential tool to opening the hearts of starving people to evangelism. During his years in Zimbabwe, he has adopted more than 20 children, founded orphanages, planted numerous churches, and established feeding and clothing programs to rural Zimbabweans suffering from the ravages of AIDS and famine. He is a man who has truly paid the price to be a minister of Christ. After the death of his wife (a car accident suspected to have been engineered by Communist opponents to their mission), he had his four sons to raise on the mission field; began adopting throwaway babies; and was even incarcerated for several months in a high security prison on trumped up charges, until being exonerated. Today, his sons and their wives are also vitally involved in his mission work.
Rev. John and Jan Kennington were sent out to Mexico from Portland's Immanuel Christian Fellowship over 32 years ago. They are Bible teachers heavily involved with theological education to university students and young professionals. While much of their work has been focused on establishing University campus study groups and conducting seminars and conferences throughout Mexico and the American Southwest, in the past few years John has also developed distance learning programs utilizing the Internet, thus broadening the reach of their ministry. The couple have three children, a son who is an architect, a daughter who is a Christian psychologist, and a daughter who assists John in the distance learning program, when she is not teaching English.
Dan and Regina Bumstead MISSION STATEMENT: We are a Spirit-led community imparting Jesus into the hearts of rural Zambians so that suffering children and the unreached become passionate followers of Christ who will lead and transform their communities.
